THE TRADITIONAL ELABORATION OF CRISPS AND SNACKS

From Dúrcal , PEÑAGALLO is conquering all the market. More than 30 years celebrating our success , from selling crisps and snacks to neighbors, to selling with specialized distributors in the national market and several countries in Europe.

In 2010, after a strong investment in machinery and R+D+I (research, development and innovation), PEÑAGALLO starts its expansion and creates different types of traditional products and high quality natural raw materials. For PEÑAGALLO “high-quality raw materials for the elaboration comes first The varieties of potatoes used are "AGRIA" and "YELLOW LADY" since they are the ones that best adapt to the frying process due to their high dry matter content. They are entirely of national origin and a high percentage of local origin. The oil used is HIGH OLEIC SUNFLOWER OIL. This type of oil leaves no trace in frying and with it the flavour of the potato can be appreciated much better. We have also a reference with extra virgin olive oil, for a market that demands a product with an intense flavour, without losing the essence of artisan crisps. Currently, we have two lines in our elaboration: PEÑAGALLO TRADITIONAL REFERENCES: Based in the elaboration of our traditional crisps and snacks, to attend our clients , like distributors “horeca” market, food stores, food chains…. PEÑAGALLO GOURMETS REFERENCES : Our special line with natural raw materials.
