Alimentos de Guadalajara is an online platform designed for advertising, promoting and commercializing the local food products of our region. It was created in 2009, as result of a collaboration project between the Provincial Council (Diputación Provincial de Guadalajara) and the Provincial Association of Farmers and Breeders (Asociación Provincial de Agricultures y Ganaderos, APAG). Nowadays, the online platform offers more than 300 agro-alimentary products from 14 different categories.
Our main goals are:
- To create a brand identified with our local food products to be used as a promotional and marketing differentiation tool.
- To create economic incentives and awareness about the consumption of local food products between traders, hospitality sector and end consumers.
From May 2021, Alimentos de Guadalajara is registered trademark, which has more than 20 associated agri-food companies in Guadalajara.
