VIÑA MEMORIAS - Viñedos Ancestrales

Viña Memorias is a family winery located in the Protected Designation of Origin Utiel-Requena, with a privileged high-altitude terroir at 70 km inland from the Mediterranean city of Valencia.

It was founded in 2016 in the spirit of preserving our family heritage and re-writing the modern history of the wines of our Protected Designation. Tradition blended with modernity, we elaborate single varietal wines, a process that begins with our farmers in each of the old bush vines, paying attention to every detail and using both traditional techniques and the latest technology for maximum quality control.

In our facilities, our winemaker Daniel Expósito handcraft wines with a minimal intervention and a distinct identity, reflecting our terroir and over 2500 years wine tradition. Our old vineyards are our true identity. Our vineyards are made up of old bush vines, more than 65 years old, which are carefully tended by the finest winegrowers. Our star variety is the Bobal grape, a unique indigenous grape from our region that provides us with singular wines, especially suitable for aging.
