PUERTA DE ALCALA CRIANZA 2020 D.O. VINOS DE MADRID

Charles III restored the Puerta de Alcalá, one of his flagship projects of his progress plans in the Madrid city.  It turned into the main entrance to the city and the most representative monument of his reign. At the same time, Puerta de Alcalá has been a symbol of modernity and of opening of new markets for our winery. Thus, this crianza wine is the projection of the masterpiece reflected on this label. It is a tribute to the genius of an architect, Francisco Sabatini whose print can be discovered in different corners of Madrid city. Consequently, Vinos Jeromín takes over from him but this time it's to express the love for the art of winemaking and the devotion to elegance in a creative way that has been improved over the time. 

The grapes used for this wine come from vineyards that are between 25 and 35 years old and are located in Villarejo de Salvanés, Villa del Prado and Villamanta. The vines have an average yield below 4.000 Kg/ha. The grapes used are of Tempranillo, Syrah and Garnacha varieties and the wine has been aged in American and French oak barrels for 10 months.
