Welcome to Pazo de La Cuesta, a living embodiment of the history of the Ribeira Sacra, which preserves the essence of its origins thanks to the commitment handed down over fourteen generations. The Pazo de la Cuesta estate extends over 40 hectares of oak and pine forest, gardens, orchards, olive groves, and vineyards. The first references to the country house, its farm, the vineyards, and the winery can be found in the family archives as far back as the year 1416. The soul of the great wines of El Pazo is found in its grapes: Godello, Treixadura, Albariño, Loureira, Garnacha Tintorera, Brancellao, Sousón, Merenzao and Caino. These are the native varieties Pazo de la Cuesta uses to make its white and red wines in the classic Burgundy and Bordeaux styles.
