The Cumbres de Abona Cooperative Society was founded in 1989 as a result of the gradual deterioration suffered by the wine sector in the southern area of ??the island, becoming one of the first wineries in the Abona Region, and one of the pioneers on the island. from Tenerife. We have a wine farm where we experiment with noble varietals and contribute to their expansion in the region through an authorized nursery. Due to its regional nature, we have 720 viticulturist members who own vineyards in the municipalities within the Abona Denomination of Origin. Our winery is located in the municipality of Arico, where we have modern and extensive facilities to produce our wines and oils. Our vineyards are influenced by a dry Mediterranean climate in the coastal areas, cooled by the trade winds in the midlands, and in the highlands, they suffer a very accentuated thermal change that provides unique characteristics. Currently, we make wines under the Cumbres de Abona, Flor de Chasna and Testamento brands, and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, OLEOTEIDE. In an effort to diversify our activities, La Sociedad Cooperativa receives guided tours to show our visitors the culture of wine and has a restaurant with magnificent facilities for receptions of any kind.
