PARBOILED LARGE RICE BONARROZ 1 KG

Bonarroz Parboiled Rice

Quality and versatility in every grain.

Product Description:

Bonarroz Parboiled Rice is a long-grain variety that has undergone a parboiling process, giving it unique characteristics in terms of texture and nutritional value. This process involves treating the rice with steam before milling, allowing nutrients to be fixed into the grain and resulting in rice that is more separate and firm after cooking.

Key Features:

• Grain: Long and slightly golden due to the parboiling process.

• Texture: After cooking, the grains remain separate and firm, preventing clumping.

• Flavor: Subtle and neutral, making it ideal for a wide variety of dishes.

Nutritional Benefits:

The parboiling process allows the rice to retain a higher amount of vitamins and minerals compared to traditional white rice. Additionally, by gelatinizing the starch during this process, parboiled rice has a lower glycemic index, contributing to a more gradual release of energy.

Culinary Uses:

Thanks to its versatility and texture, Bonarroz Parboiled Rice is ideal for:

• Rice Salads: The separate and firm grains are perfect for cold or warm salads.

• Side Dishes: Perfectly accompanies meats, fish, and saucy dishes, providing a light and fluffy base.

• International Dishes: Ideal for recipes like pilafs, biryanis, or fried rice, where separate grains are desired.
