Committed to the internationalisation and growth of exhibiting companies, Salón Gourmets offers a free service in collaboration with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and MAPA, within the Spain Food Nation agreement. This initiative provides the opportunity to connect with international buyers from all five continents through business meetings. Our prestigious Hosted Buyers Program (see the dossier here) brings together every year representatives of leading companies in the sector from all over the world.
Hosted Buyers’ Countries of Origin
Germany, Angola, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, South Korea, Denmark, Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, the United States, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Poland, Qatar, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam.
Exhibiting companies interested in exporting, and authorised to do so, that have contracted a space at Salón Gourmets can benefit from this service at no additional cost. The number of appointments that can be requested will depend on the contracted participation option.
Only exhibitors can access meetings with international buyers
Salón Gourmets has created the SG Matchmaking web application so exhibitors can schedule meetings with buyers of interest, choosing the day and time that suit them best. This allows them to organise their own personalised agenda. Exhibitors wishing to participate only need to register in advance in their private area.
Who can take part as an international buyer?
If you work for an international quality food and beverage company, have purchasing decision-making authority and your company has no office in Spain, you may be invited as a buyer by the Salón Gourmets organisation.

Participation process
Exclusively for exhibitors
Application
From their Exhibitor Private Area, you can complete the registration form.
Assessment
Your application will be assessed and additional information may be requested. Mandatory requirement: have an active website when registering.
Confirmation
Once selected, you will receive a confirmation email. From your Private Area, you can access the Matchmaking process, choose countries of interest and manage your meeting agenda.
Agenda preparation
Once the Matchmaking process has concluded, you will have access to your final agenda with confirmed meetings. Should any change be needed, you can manage it directly from your Private Area.
